busy, busy, busy... Here's What's New!
11/July/2009
The past couple months have been crazy busy (to say
the least). There's so much that's new, here's the
inventory! A beautiful early 18th Century, or maybe
late 17th Century, Tondo frame gilt and hand carved
in the Della Robbia style, an amazing 19th Century
Persian frame with incredible inlay, an impressive
oil on masonite in a Regionalist / Surrealist style
signed Demarco, a pair of landscapes that are both
oils on panel by Bernard Corey, a 19th Century
English safe, an unsigned oil on canvas that you'll
have to see to believe (it was relined so it's going
to be a restoration project - who knows what could be
there after the restoration is complete!), a
Mid-Century wormy chestnut Modernist frame, a
Mastercraft two drawer cabinet of burled wood with
amazing brass hardware and pulls, an iconic
Mastercraft dining table with oval glass top and
double brass pedestal bases. The table has a very
funny story attached to it. I'll share that later,
but a hint would be that there's now a lot of
sentimental value!!! Hope you like what's new.
