Light at the End of the Tunnel?
09/February/2009
Well, there is definitely a bright spot on the
horizon, I have a few sales to report amid this
economic crunch. Both sculptures by American artist
Wheeler Williams have sold. The first to sell was
'Fall' and not to be left alone, the terracotta sold
shortly thereafter. Also, the two red chalk drawings
dating from circa 1805 sold to a New York collector.
In addition the Jacques Villon and the Paul Klee.
These last four items were all purchased in Boston.
The two Wheeler Williams sculptures were purchased
here in NYC. This weekend, I'll be attending an
auction, so let's all keep our fingers crossed. I
want to be part of the recovery. I made a few sales
and now I'd like to buy a few things.
